Do you want to volunteer? Are you in a position to give back to your community? Would you like to get to know more women in the community? Whatever your reason for joining, Lemont Junior Woman's Club (LJWC) is an organization whose members work together to support our community. We'd love to have you join us!
Active members are asked to lead at least one club initiative each year, working closely with the chair of a committee: Community Outreach, Juniorettes, Membership, Philanthropy, or Ways & Means. Additionally, members select 3-5 volunteer shifts from the various opportunities that are available throughout the year.
If you are interested in joining LJWC, please come check out a meeting first! Meetings typically take place monthly, September-May. Active LJWC members are asked to attend at least 1 of every 3 general meetings throughout the calendar year. See our upcoming events for more information.
Associate memberships are also available for those who have been members for more than 5 years and wish to have a less active role.
