The LJWC is an award-winning 501(c)(3) service organization registered in Illinois. We are members of the 5th Junior District Federation of Junior Woman’s Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). The GFWC, founded in 1890, is the oldest and largest nonpartisan, nondenominational women’s volunteer service organization.
For the past 30 years, LJWC has supported the greater Lemont community by conducting safety programs, recognizing young adult volunteer efforts through our scholarship program, and providing needed funding for local food pantries. Our community legacy is our Centennial Park Playground and Lemont Safety Village.
